After nearly two months of drought, the floodgates at the App Store recently opened. We’ve had five (5) apps approved in the past several days.
Apologies in advance to our more aesthetically sensitive users who were offended by the appearance of the BluMtnWerx logo in RingDance’s main view. The free app sounds the same, and when your screen times out, it even looks the same.
Some of our more aesthetically sensitive users reported that they were offended by the inclusion of the BluMtnWerx logo in RingDance’s main view. Since I never want to run afoul of the higher minded types, I removed the logo from the paid version of RingDance.
I wondered what would happen if we temporarily set the price for one of our apps to US$0.00. The results were almost stunning. I guess that “Free” is the right price. Of course, it’s not particularly profitable…
It’s reviews like this that highlight the many rewards of iPhone app development. We sure don’t do it for the money.
I’ve heard all about Apple’s “deep bench,” but I think that the company would be lost without Mr. Jobs. It’s hard to express how relieved I was to see him up on that stage this morning.
This is a real departure from our game applications. RingDance is a lifestyle and relaxation app that provides a soothing aural background for meditation or concentration.
