Alphabet Morpher Lite, another fun iPhone™ / iPod touch™ app that introduces the alphabet to preschoolers, is now available on the App Store.
We did a press release announcing the availability of Alphabet Morpher v1.0. Here’s the content:
Apparently, the devious folks behind ColorMagic were able to fool the mechanism supporting Staff Favorites on the App Store. Makes me wonder how the “Favorites” are actually selected.
Congratulations to the team at Rogue Amoeba! They raised enough of a stink that Apple called them, and actually reversed a previously issued rejection.
It’s about time. Apparently, they’re finally automating scans of submitted apps for any calls to private API’s. This (the automation) is a good thing.
I’ve been following the back & forth between @mikeash and @jeff_lamarche over Rogue Amoeba’s decision to bail on iPhone app development. As with many such things, it’s worth considering the implications for the rest of us.
TiltBallLite, our accelerometer controlled app, now has its own Scoreloop board. You’ll be competing directly with other TiltBallLite players.
I had a similar experience with TiltBallLite. It took me 3 tries to get it past Apple’s approval death panel.
iPuckLite v1.1 allows unlimited scoring during the 30 second game and it’s fully Scoreloop enabled. This trial version of iPuck doesn’t play for quite as long, but it’s still exciting, and you’ll really have to get after it to score well in 30 seconds.
iPuckv1.3 allows unlimited scoring during the 2 minute 30 second game. This makes the game more exciting, and removes the ability to get high scores by simply guarding your own goal. You’ll now have to play aggressively to get the highest score before the game clock runs down.
